Luke 7 :22 So he replied to the messengers, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy[a] are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.
...has a powerful testimony of how GOD can take a person from a life of drugs and sin to a living a life of character and integrity.
Larry grew up in a highly dysfunctional family marred by alcoholism and abuse. As a result of this damaging environment, Larry spent his early teen years in boys’ homes. The Arrowhead Ranch discharged Larry at the age of 16 with a letter saying he would probably spend the rest of his life in prison and that he was “incorrigible.” Even society’s best psychologists provided no hope for his downward spiral. By age 27, Larry had his own drug business. Prior to being indicted, he had a dramatic encounter with Jesus and was delivered from addictions and commissioned to preach. While serving five years on an eight-year prison sentence, he taught Bible studies, preached, was ordained and graduated from Bible colleges via correspondence studies. Upon his release, Larry had nothing, but he quickly applied the Word of God and “took by faith the land of Canaan.”
As an Account Executive at Christianity Today, Inc., Larry was top biller for seven years. He not only never missed a budget goal, but was the only Account Executive to always exceed those goals.
Larry then spent six years launching new magazines and web sites as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Real Media Group.
Today, Larry is active in his home church since 1992. He teaches and preaches at prisons, men’s retreats, and ministry conferences across the Chicago area. He is a friend to many pastors who call upon him for advice and trust his counsel regarding their ministry and mission. Larry is known as "a Pastor’s Pastor.” As the Manager of Church Relations at AM 1160 WYLL radio since 1999, his day to day task has been establishing and maintaining relationships with pastors in churches large and small, in Chicagoland and across the country. Larry concurrently produces radio programming and advertising as President of Quality Sound Productions. In that capacity he assists megachurches and national ministries with media relationships and operates as an agency for media buys. In addition, Larry hosts a daily radio podcast "Hope for Convicts and Opioid Addicts."
Larry resides in the suburbs of Chicago with his wife and three adult children.
